Run announcement for 11/3…
Saturday morning the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 5/6-mile course at the Lafayette Reservoir - “The Upper Rim” Trail. We will meet at the entrance of the reservoir at the top of the hill by the Restrooms & Fish Cleaning station. The course will not be marked, however, if you are not familiar with this run let Chuck know.
Driving Directions: From the 680/24 Interchange, merge onto CA-24 W take the Acalanes Road exit, (Exit 11), toward upper Happy Valley Road. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto Acalanes Road; turn slight left onto Mt Diablo Blvd. Lafayette Reservoir is on your right (3849 Mt. Diablo Blvd).
If you continue past the reservoir entrance, you can park on Village Ctr, which is the first street past the reservoir or on Mt Diablo Road. Running from this location will add 1 mile to the course. This will give you a 6-mile run. If you park at the reservoir there is a parking charge and that course will be 5 miles.

See you there!
