10/1 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:30AM

Sunday morning at 8:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running from the top of Old Briones Road south of Martinez.  There will be courses of 3.5 and 6.2 miles.  Chris will be out early marking the courses and Vivek will be at the start to greet and sweep.

Both courses are dog friendly.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 680 North.  Exit onto Route 4 West.  Exit Route 4 at Alhambra Ave.  Turn left at the bottom of the ramp.  Go under the freeway.  Bear right onto Alhambra Valley Road.  At the "T" turn right.  Make an almost immediate left onto Old Briones Road.  Park at the top.  You are at the start.

9/25 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running their final Monday evening run of the season.  The run will be on Shell Ridge in Walnut Creek starting from Whitecliff Way.  Ginny will be out early marking the course and Mary Ann will be at the start to greet and sweep.

The course:   Start at whitecliff, turn right on single track to bull frog. Turn left go on single track to twin ponds. Stay on the right of twin ponds and follow service rd. behind twin ponds. Thru gate stay left on around backside of hill. Will be on briones to mt diablo trail. To gate and kiosk above Borges. Stay straight. When they come to service rd on left go left on it down past the dead end of rock springs. They can take single track back to whitecliff or go a little further up hill then turn rt to whitecliff. I will mark both.

Our net run is scheduled for Sunday, October 1.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 Interchange take 680 South.  Exit at South Main Street and continue South on South Main Street.  Turn left onto Rudgear Road.  Go under the freeway and follow Rudgear Road past Rudgear park.  Turn left on Whitecliff Way.  Park at the end of the street where the run will start.

9/18 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 4+ mile course in Briones Regional Park from the top of Old Briones Road in Martinez.  Chris will be out early marking the course and Mary Ann will be at the start to greet and sweep.  This is a dog friendly course.

A heads-up:  We will be switching to Sunday morning runs on October 1st.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 Interchange take 680 North.  Exit onto Route 4 West.  Exit Route 4 at the Alhambra Ave. exit.  Turn left at the bottom of the ramp.  Bear right onto Alhambra Valley Road.  At the "T" turn right and make an almost immediate left onto Old Briones Road.  Follow Old Briones to the to[p of the hill and park.  You are at the start of the run.

9/11 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running an out and back course in Las Trampas Regional Park from the corner of Camille and Camille Lane in Alamo.  The course will not be marked.  Doug will be at the start to explain the course and get everyone started.

The Course:  Follow the Mt. Diablo - Las Trampas Trail from the start to where it ends at the Madrone Trail.  Turn left on the Madrone Trail which is a fire road.  Follow the trail past Tao House (Eugene O'Neil's former home) to the gate leading to the Del Amigo Trail.  Turn around at the gate and follow the course back to the start.

A heads up:  We will switch to Sunday morning runs October 1st.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 Interchange take 680 South.  Exit at Stone Valley Road West.  Turn left onto Danville Blvd.  Turn right onto Camille.  Park on Camille where Camille Lane intersects.

9/4 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:30AM

Monday morning, Labor Day, at 8:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running on Lime Ridge from Arbolado Park in Walnut Creek.  This will be a memorial run in honor of Pattie Garrison.  A pot luck picnic brunch will follow the run at the park.  Vivek will be out early marking a 3 and a 7 mile course,  Doug will get everyone started.  Keith will be monitoring the food and drink table.

Please bring some food and/or drink to share with the group.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 Interchange take Ygnacio Valley Road towards Concord.  After you pass the Hospital turn right on Walnut Ave.  Follow Walnut Ave. to the traffic circle and turn right onto Castle Rock Road.  Turn left onto North Gate Rd.  Turn left on Sutton Drive and follow it to the end.   Cross Arbolado into the park's parking lot.
