8/3 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

Monday evening the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6.5 mile loop course in Upper San Leandro Reservoir on the Rocky Ridge and Kings Canyon trails.  Doug will be out early marking the course and Mary Ann will be at the start to greet and sweep.

EBMUD Trail Pass Holders:  Please bring your pass and sign in 4 runners.

Non Trail Pass Holders:  Sign in using a Trail Pass Holder's pass number with your license plate number.  You can find out about getting a pass at www.ebmud.com/recreation/

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 24 towards Oakland.  Exit at the Central Lafayette Exit and bear right at the bottom of the ramp.  Continue the right turn and go under the freeway.  Turn right on Mt Diablo Blvd and immediately get in the left lane.  Turn left on Moraga Road.  Follow Moraga Road through Moraga where the name of the road changes to Canyon Road.  Continue on Canyon Road and look for the parking lot on your left about 1/2 mile past the catholic church.

Long Sleeved Dirt Dog T-shirt Order Form

Here's the order form for the long sleeved shirts.  We will be placing the order towards the end of August to make sure we have the shirts before the cold weather hits.  A minimum of 36 shirts need to be ordered.  You can give me the order form with payment at a run or mail it to my home.

7/27 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile loop course on Shell Ridge from Rockspring Place in Walnut Creek.  Ginny will be out early marking the course and will be shortenrd if the weather is very hot.  Linda will be at the start to greet and sweep.  This is a dog friendly course.

Coming Soon:  Kat is finalizing arrangements for a long sleeve T-shirt.   Design - white tech long sleeve, crew neck for men, v-neck for women.  Front will have DD logo on left chest about 4" - 2 color.  Back will be just "Trail Runners", large in reflective ink.  The cost will be $15, paid in advance.  Order forms with full information will be sent out within the next few weeks.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take Ygnacio Valley Road towards Concord.  Turn right on Walnut Blvd. (1st light after Civic)  Turn left on Rockspring Place.  Park on Rockspring Place where the Joaquin Ranch Trail crosses.

Turn left at the bottom of the Livorna off ramp from 680 South to head east

Turn right by Castle Rock park to exit Pine Canyon on the long run.

7/20 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile loop course on Shell Ridge from the East end of Livorna Road in Alamo.  There will also be a 4 mile option.  Doug will be out early marking the course and Chris will be at the start to greet and sweep.

The course:  We will start across the street from the paring lot and follow the Alamo Trail to the Mount Diablo-Briones Trail.  The short course will turn left and follow the Mount Diablo-Briones Trail until it joins the long course where it comes out of Pine Canyon.  The long course will turn right and follow the Mount Diablo-Briones trail making a left turn on the Little Yosemite Trail.  Take the Little Yosemite Trail to its end and turn left on the Stagecoach Trail.  Just before Castle Rock Park turn right and exit Pine Canyon with a series of right turns on fireroads.  After joining up with the short course take a right turn and go around the water tower following the Foothill Trail back to the parking lot.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 680 South towards Dublin.  Exit at Livorna Road and turn right at the bottom of the ramp.  Follow Livorna Road East to its end and park in the  parking lot on your left.

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile loop course on Shell Ridge from Rudgear Park in Walnut Creek.  This is a dog friendly course.  Keith will be out early marking the course and Tina will be at the start to greet and sweep.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 680 South towards Dublin.  Exit at the South Main Street exit and continue South on South Main Street.  Turn left on Rudgear Road.  (Those coming North on 680 can exit directly onto Rudgear Road.)  Go East on Rudgear Road.  Turn right on Stewart Avenue.  Look for the parking lot on your left after you pass Trotter Way.

7/6 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running an out and back course on the Bear Creek Trail in Briones Reservoir from the Overlook Staging Area.  Dogs are not allowed on this trail.  Vivek will be at the start to get everyone going in the right direction.  It's about 3 miles to a gate and 4 to the next parking area.

EBMUD Trail Pass holders:  Please bring your pass and sign in for 4 runners.

Non Trail Pass holders:  Sign in with your license plate number using a holders pass number.  Information about obtaining a pass can be found at www.ebmud.com/recreation.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 24 towards Oakland.  Exit at the Orinda exit and bear right at the bottom of the ramp onto San Pablo Dam Road.  Turn right on Bear Creek Road and look for the parking area on your left near the top of a big hill.
