4/28 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile loop course on Shell Ridge in Walnut Creek from where the Joaquin Ranch Trail crosses Rockspring Place.  Ginny will be out early marking the course and Doug will be at the start to greet and sweep.  Try to arrive a bit early to meet the other runners and get started before Doug begins to erase the course arrows.

Congratulations to  one of our own, Jose Reyes, who finished 2nd in his age group and 9th overall in the Diablo Trails Challenge 50K last Saturday?  His average pace was 9:53.  Pretty impressive, especially for an older guy!
Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take Ygnacio Valley Road towards Concord.  Turn right on Walnut Blvd.  (1st light after Civic)  Follow Walnut Blvd. for about 3 miles.  Turn left on Rockspring Place and park where the Joaquin Ranch Trail crosses.  (About 1/4 mile)
We look forward to your joining our run.

4/7 Dirt Dog Run @ 6:30PM

2.  Greetings

The time in the subject line is correct.  Monday evening at 6:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running the first run of our summer format.  The run will start at the staging area at the East end of Livorna Road in Alamo.  The course will be a 4 mile loop which should let everyone finish in daylight.  Doug will be out early marking the course and Tina will be at the start to greet and sweep.  Plan on getting to the start a bit early so you meet the other runners and get on the course before Tina begins erasing the arrows.

We look forward to your joining our run.
