12/1 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:30AM

2.  Greetings

Sunday morning at 8:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running an out and back course in Briones Reservoir on the Bear Creek Trail from the Overlook Staging Area.  This run is mostly on single track trails with moderate hills.  It is peaceful and somewhat scenic.  It is about 3 miles to a gate and 4 miles to the next Staging Area each way.  Doug will be at the start to get everyone going.  The trail will not be marked.

EBMUD trail pass holders.  Please bring your pass to the run and sign in for 4 runners.  This will allow all in attendance to be legit.  Non holders can obtain a pass at this web address:
https://www.ebmud.com/recreation/trail-use-permits/
The permit is not expensive and opens up some good trails for you to run on.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 24 towards Oakland.  Exit at the Orinda exit and bear right at the bottom of the ramp onto San Pablo Dam Road.  Follow San Pablo Dam Road towards Richmond past the EBMUD treatment plant.  Turn right on Bear Creek Road.  Look for the parking lot on your left about 2/3 of the way up a long hill.

We look forward to your joining our run.

Take Hway 4 West
Exit at Alhambra Ave and turn left under the freeway.
Turn Right on Franklin Canyon (second right after your turn onto Alhambra) and you will see the dirt parking lot on the corner of Alhambra and Franklin Canyon.

Take Hway 4 East to Martinez
Exit at Alhambra Ave and turn right.

11/10 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:45AM

2.  Greetings

Sunday morning at 8:45 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile course in the Crockett Hills Regional Park.  Bill will be out early and Doug will be at the start to greet and sweep.  The delayed start is to give Bill enough of a head start to stay ahead of the faster runners.  The park doesn't open until 8AM.  Dogs are OK.

Driving Directions:  Take 680 North to Highway 4 West. After about 8 miles take the Crockett/Vallejo exit (there's a brown Crockett Hills sign there) and turn right upon exiting. Head north about 2 miles to the first traffic light. Turn right at the light and proceed down the hill, watching for the Crockett Hills entrance on your left near the bottom of the hill.

We look forward to your joining our run.
