10/27 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:30AM

2.  Greetings

Sunday morning at 8:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will be running a 6 mile out and back course in Las Trampas Regional Park from the Hemme staging area in Alamo.  Doug will be out early marking the course and he will wait at the turn around.  After everyone has gotten to the turn around he will sweep the course markings on his way back to the staging area.  Keith will be at the start to get everyone going.  There will be mile markers for those not wanting to do the full (3 miles out, 3 miles back) distance.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take 680 South towards Danville.  Exit at the Stone Valley West exit.  Go west on Stone Valley Road a short way and turn left on Danville Blvd.  Turn right at the traffic light onto Hemme.  Look for the parking lot on your right a short way past the conference center.  The parking lot is small which will require later arrivals to park on the street.

We look forward to your joining our run.

10/12 Dirt Dog Run @ 8:30AM

1.  Greetings

Saturday morning at 8:30 the Dirt Dog Trail Runners will run an out and back course on the Diablo - Briones trail from Indian Valley School in Walnut Creek.  We have selected this Saturday run for the following reasons:

To give runners with Sunday morning commitments a chance to join us.
To avoid conflict with big local races, in this case the Run for Education in San Ramon and Danville.
To let folks racing the next day to have an easy pre race run.
To give everyone an opportunity to see in daylight the course we use for moonlight runs.

Doug will be at the start to get everyone started.  You can pick your distance.  It's about 2-1/4 miles to the gate above Borges Ranch.

Driving Directions:  From the 680/24 interchange take Ygnacio Valley Road towards Concord.  Turn right on Homestead (2nd light after Civic).  Turn left on Marshall and follow Marshall to the end of the road.  Park on Marshall in front of Indian Valley School.

We look forward to your joining our run.
